Hello! Now I’m going to describe my week in Sweden.
I can say that it was one of the most memorable and exciting weeks of my life. There I met plenty of new people and made a lot of friends. Also I learned interesting facts about Swedish culture and traditions, and experienced my host’s daily routine.
First of all, I would like to thank my host family for being so friendly and curious about me and my country. They are all amazing. We spent much time together and I really enjoyed our walk in the woods, family dinners, watching ‘’The Gardians of the Galaxy’’ and having FIKA together!
To Maria (my host’s mother), thank you for being so nice and for the amazing food (the unique rain deer and lasagne), and also for the help with my finger “issue”. To Jacob’s father and two brother, thank you for the wonderful time we had together! I’m very grateful for everything that the family did for me! They made me feel at home! One more time, THANK YOU!
As for the school, I was absolutely impressed by Swedish educational system. In Sweden, students study the normal subjects such as Maths, History, Science and Geography, but they also have practical subjects as woodworking, sewing and Home Economics.
I loved their Home Economics’ class because you cook something and then eat and share it with your classmates. In my opinion, this kind of subjects improve your personal skills and would be very helpful for you future life.
The school in Dalby was fantastic. They have Chemistry labs, large PE hall, an amazing library and so on. There I met Jacob’s friends and schoolmates.
And I almost forgot the canteen. In Sweden, students usually have free lunch at school’s canteen. Every day, there is something different. For example, during our stay in Dalbi, Sweden we had rice with pork and sauce, a soup and pasta with broccoli sauce. I need only three word: “I LOVE IT!
During our stay in Sweden, we visited a lot of cities and landmarks! One of the days, we went ice skating. It was an amazing as much as horrible experience! Amazing because all the students from the exchange spent time together however horrible as I can not ice scate! Despite the obstacles, we had an increadible time!
As a conclusion, I want to say that I’m really grateful for the given opportunity for taking part in this project! It was a memorable experience full of impressions and fond memories!
